James McLaughlin is a Senior Advisor at Lincolnshire and has served as a Managing Director and on the Operations Team. Jim has worked to originate investment opportunities, on Execution Teams, and has also managed litigations and business disputes for many of Lincolnshire’s portfolio companies. He has been a Director of Kathryn Beich and Paddock Pool Construction. Prior to joining Lincolnshire in 2005, Jim was a partner in the corporate department of the global law firm Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. Jim has over forty years of experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged buyout transactions across a broad range of financial services, consumer products, food products, manufacturing, and service industries.

Jim holds a BA from Bucknell University and a JD from the Cornell Law School. Jim enjoys skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with family
